Line Up: Diego Brown and the Good Fairy, Emilie Lierre, Celia Barrett
We tend to think of performance as a two-way thing. We have high expectations of our audience. And they usually come up trumps.
If it doesn’t have a story we think it’s unlikely to make a song. And if it’s not a song, what’s the story?
If you want the facts, try these: guitar, banjo, ukelele, drum, accordion, fiddles, swannee, kazoos, cymbal, shakers, drawings, cake, prizes, fuzzboxes.
Emilie Lierre’s low-toned, soulful, singing voice has a truly commanding presence. Backed up by the alluring chimes of her trustee Ukulele, the charisma that exudes from Emilie’s performances is truly electrifying!
A nomad by nature, born in Manchester, brought up in Portsmouth, but comfortable anywhere lead Emilie Lierre to Australia where she busked and discovered, led to appearances on ABC and Triple R radio in Melbourne and the the confidence to pursue her musical dream.
Having appeared to much acclaim at our Americana festival we are delighted to have Emilie back for a feature set.
